Saxophonist Jason Jackson debuts with "All The Way"

Introducing saxophonist Jason Jackson. Jason has teamed up with bassist Julian Vaughn on his debut single “All the Way”, a track that gives him a powerful start into the world of jazz.

“All the Way” is indulgent with fulfilling sax notes in cool and laid back grooves.

Growing up in Wilmington, NC, Jason’s love for music led him to studying the sax with Leroy Harper Jr, who was the saxophonist for James Brown. In high school, Jason’s first gig was working with the house band at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina with a degree in jazz performance, Jason performed at corporate and social events and even nightclubs before enlisting in the US Navy in 2011 as a musician.

As a musician in the military, it gave Jason the opportunity to perform for an international audience in China, Australia, Vietnam and Japan to name a few.

After spending three years in Japan playing the smooth jazz circuits, Jason returned to the US in 2021 where he began work on his debut CD. Set for a May 14th release, Jason’s new EP Moving On was produced by guitarist Adam Hawley and features cameos by Julian Vaughn and Tim Bowman.
