Guitarist Craig Sharmat releases single about reemerging into a new positive future

Ever since the Covid 19 virus made its appearance last year, we have seen more and more jazz musicians use their artwork to inject some hope and optimism into heir listeners musically assuring them that all will be well with the world again.

Guitarist and composer Craig Sharmat is pushing the same agenda with his new single "A Brighter Day". According to the press notes, "A Brighter Day" is a song about "reemerging into a new positive future".

And so if Craig's CD cover art that features him on a sun kissed beach wearing white with guitar in hand does not give you a sense of bliss, then listening to the single will definitely bring it all together.

Craig is smooth and unhurried on the guitars in a refined musical arrangement that flows nicely to the ear with a flawless flute from Mark Hollingsworth. Other musicians on this compilation include Greg Manning on keyboards, Rayford Griffin on drums, Darryl Williams on bass and Kevin Winard on percussion.

As one of the more sort after composers with Top 10 success, Craig has arranged for several musicians including Rick Braun, Greg Manning, Blake Aaron, Selina Albright, Mindi Abair plus more.
