Atlanta based jazz musician Jody Mayfield joined saxophonist Walter Beasley on the new single "Strawberry Sunday". Taken from the CD Doing the Do the single is a tasty mid-groove with a mellow sax that plays well with joyous keys.
Jody is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University from which he obtained his major in Music Performance. He also has a BA and Master's Degree in Musical Technology.
Well rounded as a jazz musician, Jody has shared the stage with Dizzy Gillespie, Grover Washington Jr, Wynton Marsalis, and James Lloyd from Pieces of a Dream.
