Philippe Saisse teams up with saxophonist Eric Darius on new single

(PRESS RELEASE) Staying firmly in the soulfully infectious New York state of mind and blissful fusion of classic hip-hop jazz he brought to his 2025 airplay hit "Nougayork", Grammy nominated composer/producer/arranger Philippe Saisse brings an authentic, vibrant spirit to his newest release "City Sync", joining forces with contemporary/urban jazz and fellow #1 hit-making star Eric Darius.

With a groove that rides at 86 beats per minute, the rhythm of "City Sync" calls to mind the early days of New York hip-hop, when Saisse was into artists like A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul. The track is lo-fi hip-hop jazz at a slower tempo where, by design, Saisse and Darius play not along with, but behind the beat.

Though they come from different musical worlds, "City Sync" puts Saisse and Darius in perfect sync.
