German bassist and vocalist Gunter Asbeck has released the new single "Make it Work Again". Taken from his Evolve CD, the single features cameos from Dennis LeGree and Will Donato.
Gunter's sweet and controlled vocals progress smoothly within a soulful single replete with lush background vocals and airy horns. This single could well be one from the Incognito songbook as it matches their sound without coming across as a carbon copy.
Gunter spent several years working alongside several jazz musicians including Kirk Whalum, Brian Culbertson and Gerald Albright to name a few.
"Make it Work Again" is the follow-up to Gunter's single with vocalist Selina Albright, a stellar ballad entitled "Don't Give Up".
